#LostGirl - Dr. Hotpants Drops the L Bomb
Whoa! Didn’t see that coming, especially after last week’s episode, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I don’t mean just the Doccubus. I also mean Bo/Kenzi, Bo/Dyson and even Lauren/Dyson. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Friends who stand by you when you need them the most? And Hale, OMG! Hats off to him for having Bo’s back the way he did!
This week Bo infiltrates in the violent underground fighting world to help a human muddled with the wrong Fae crowd. But the unexpected encounter with her past is the overwhelming factor in this episode. Her first boyfriend’s sister tracks her down and wants her to pay for killing him years ago after they had sex. This is pure torture for Bo as she came to the realization she never gave his family closure.
As badass and blue-eyed as she was, I so felt for the vulnerable Bo when she was floored in that cage. Her pain was almost mine, too. She didn’t accept Dyson’s offer to get some of his Chi and was just beating herself up for a crime she committed years back because she didn’t know who she was.
Bo isn’t the only one struggling with her past and present. Lauren’s torment at the mere thought of losing Bo while getting Nadia back is more than the usually controlled doctor can take. Lauren’s spur-of-the-moment declaration of love while nursing Bo’s wounds is sadly dismissed by our succubus who’s not keen to process this now. But the look in their eyes speaks volumes. Palmer and Silk nailed it again!
Past and present aside, I am so looking forward to seeing how this will affect their future.
