Sandra Izbasa and Flavius Koczi win Gold in Berlin

Ever since Nadia Comaneci earned her first 10 at the Montreal Olympics in 1976, Romanian gymnasts continued to make history.

Yesterday at the European Championships in Berlin, Sandra Izbasa won the final of the women's vault while Flavius Koczi won gold in the men's floor exercise. Koczi previously won silver in the all-around event on Friday.

Today, Sandra Izbasa and Diana Chelaru competed in the women's floor final. Izbasa won the final and Chelaru earned a well-deserved silver. Another bronze medal was added to the Romanian team record through Amelia Rancea in the all-around event on Saturday.

Romania ends the competition with an impressive total of six medals. Well done, girls and boys!
